TEHRAN (Realist English). Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi said that the Islamic Republic is stronger than ever and no equation in the region will be viable without its decisive role.
“Despite all the sanctions and threats, we are stronger than ever. We have strength,” Raisi said, speaking at a meeting with participants of the 18th General Assembly of the Organization of Asia—Pacific News Agencies (OANA).
According to the head of the Iranian government, the era of unilateral approaches has come to an end:
“After the era of unilateral approaches, a new chapter is now opening, and new forces are being created in the world. Today, the influence of Americans in the region is declining.” Raisi also stressed the need to form a media coalition in the region and the world to protect against the harmful influence of Western culture.
The Iranian President is convinced that the activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization contribute to the construction of a multipolar world, which Western countries are trying to counteract. In his report, Raisi drew attention to the “information terrorism” of the United States.
According to him, the American authorities, realizing that the sanctions imposed against Iran have not proved their effectiveness, began to use other hidden methods. In particular, Raisi called an unsuccessful attempt by the United States to provoke unrest in Iran.
The Europeans also got it. Earlier, the EU High Commissioner for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrel, received a harsh response from the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for comparing the European Union with a garden, and the rest of the world with a jungle undeveloped by the civilization.
