LUGANSK (Realist English). The official representative of the People’s Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, told the tragic story of a family from the city of Rubezhnoye on the air of the program “Time will Tell” with Artem Sheinin.
“We have planned combat work going on. Now the enemy is being squeezed out of the territory of our Republic to the neighboring Donetsk People’s Republic. And on the other hand, they are being squeezed by the DPR. From the north, Ukrainian military formations are being squeezed by the Russian Armed Forces. In fact, we are making a cauldron, which in 2014-2015 was felt by the Ukrainian punishers.
As for the humanitarian component of the evacuation of civilians from the settlements of Rubezhnoye, Lisichansk and Severodonetsk. Unfortunately, the information about the shooting of civilians who tried to evacuate has been confirmed. Only these residents were not from Severodonetsk, but from Rubezhny. When their house was bombed, their whole family jumped into the car, on which there were characteristic inscriptions – it was written “Children”. The father, the mother and the three children (the youngest of them is 1.3 years old and the eldest is 14 years old) and the grandfather. They all decided to leave in our direction, as they say, wherever they look. Because no one let anybody out from this settlement – there were no green corridors. They ran into a Ukrainian checkpoint, where fire was opened on the car. Grandpa covered the whole family with himself. He died.
The family jumped out of the car without any belongings or documents. The parents only managed to grab the children. While in hiding, they saw that the car exploded. Grandpa was burned down. For some time they wandered through the ruins, hiding from the armed formations of the Ukraine. And then they managed to reach the units of the People’s Militia of the LPR. Our servicemen provided them with first aid. Then they were transported by evacuation transport to a safer locality. Doctors examined people there and sent them to NovoAydar. After that the doctors sent the victims to the Lugansk Republican Hospital, where they were visited by the head of the LPR Leonid Pasechnik.
You know, I’ve seen a lot in my life. But what they told to the Head…I still have goosebumps on my body… They said that amnestied prisoners, who were given weapons, go to their settlement. In fact, they immediately began to engage in looting. There are no shops, no water, no light. There is nothing! How do people survive there? It’s incomprehensible… The Ukrainian Nazis themselves go and loot the apartments. They occupy the first and third floors of the buildings. When this family came to their apartment, people saw that the lock was broken and the apartment was taken out. Thank God, they are alive and well now.”
On March 14, the Ukrainian army used prohibited cluster munitions during the shelling of the center of Donetsk. As a result, 21 civilians were killed, another 28 people, including children, were seriously injured and taken to medical institutions.
On the morning of February 24, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation of the Russian Military Forces in the Ukraine. The special operation forestalled and thwarted a large-scale offensive by the shock groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, which are not controlled by the Kiev regime, in March of this year.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 111 Ukrainian aircraft, 68 helicopters, 160 unmanned aerial vehicles, 159 anti-aircraft missile systems, 1,353 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 129 multiple rocket launchers, 493 field artillery and mortar guns, as well as 1,096 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
