The West is preparing Turkey for war with Russia — politician Nikolai Starikov

The United States and Western countries have already written off the Ukraine, so they are gradually preparing the ground for a war between Russia and Turkey, public and political figure Nikolai Starikov believes.

MOSCOW (Realist English). The Ukrainian project created by the West to counter Russia does not cope with its task, this tool has been cracked and will be broken as a result of the Russian special military operation, public and political figure Nikolay Starikov is sure. Therefore, in his opinion, the United States is gradually preparing the ground for a war between Russia and Turkey.

“The Ukraine, as an “anti-Russia” and an instrument of Western policy against our country, obviously does not cope. The only question is when this tool will disappear. The tool has been cracked and will be broken. As a result, the West will need to create a new tool in order to continue to put pressure on Moscow,” Starikov believes.

He reminded that Russia has repeatedly fought with Turkey in its history:

“Today, Turkey is one of the strongest NATO powers, the second largest army, with a tough foreign policy. Despite a number of contradictions with Russia, Ankara manages to build good-neighborly relations. Today, Turkey is a tourist window into the world for Russia. But the West will be preparing a war between Russia and Turkey, which is why it must be withdrawn from NATO. A war between Turkey and Russia is needed, but in such a way that the West does not bear any responsibility for it. Therefore, in the coming years, the main road of Western policy will be the withdrawal of Turkey from NATO. There will be an pretext. For example, Turkey disrupts the accession of Finland and Sweden to NATO, creates certain difficulties, conducts an uncoordinated policy, and so on.”

In addition, the political forces are growing inside Turkey, which advocate the country’s withdrawal from NATO.

“For what reason Turkey will withdraw from NATO, Washington and London do not care. Both Erdoğan and the anti-Erdoğan can do this. The main thing is that after Turkey leaves NATO, the organization of a conflict between Moscow and Ankara will begin,” Nikolai Starikov is convinced.
