NEW DELHI (Realist English). At the height of the Baku-Turkish aggression in 2020, India offered Armenia small arms, ammunition and other weapons to Armenia in an emergency mode — under the condition of deferred payment. This is reported by the publication Indian Defense Research Wing with reference to the Indian media.
“The Armenian military agreed to such assistance from India, but they could not organize air transportation, which is capable of delivering military cargo to Yerevan. The Armenian Air Force operates only two Soviet-era Il-76 military transport aircraft, but for some reason they were not put into operation to transport military cargo from India”, wonders the publication.
Indian Defense Research Wing reminds that “shortly before the war, Armenia received four SU-30SM, but they were also to a large extent non-operational, since they did not have missiles and other weapons that should have been issued under a separate deal”.
As it turns out, not only India offered emergency military assistance to Armenia, the editor-in-chief of Realist News Agency Sarkis Tsaturyan noted.
“But why did the Yerevan vice-roys refuse to accept aid? I know the answer to the question. I think you know the answer, too. I have said many times that the biggest problem of the Armenian ruling class is the lack of subjectivity”, Tsaturyan believes.
According to the Editor-in-Chief of the Realist News Agency, “for the last three decades, the Armenian ruling class has been feeding the people with fables that the whole world is allegedly against the Armenian Artsakh and is not ready to recognize it as part of Armenia”: “It was a lie. A blatant lie, the purpose of which was the surrender of Armenian lands to the rule of the Turks and the Baku mini sultanate. And we saw this surrender in 2020. Armenians, remember: the world is not limited to Moscow, Baku and Ankara. The world, it’s much bigger. And the better the Armenians treat each other, the better this world will treat the interests of the Armenian people. It’s simple!”.
