TEHRAN (Realist English). The Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has accused the United States and Israel of carrying out “unprovoked aggression” against Iran and vowed continued retaliation following the killing of the country’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the Quds Force said the attacks by Washington and Tel Aviv that began late last month constituted a violation of international law and fundamental human values.

According to the statement, the strikes led to the death of Khamenei — whom the force described as a “heroic mujahid and guardian of the Muslims” — as well as several senior Iranian officials and civilians.

The Quds Force said the attacks had failed to weaken the Islamic Republic or its regional allies, commonly referred to by Tehran as the “Axis of Resistance.” Instead, it said the confrontation had strengthened their resolve.

The statement reaffirmed the force’s commitment to continue confronting what it called “global arrogance and international Zionism.”

“After the enemy has crossed all red lines of humanity and international law, we consider it our religious duty to continue fighting with full force,” the statement said.

It also warned that those responsible for the attacks would face retaliation and would not find security anywhere in the world.

Addressing the wider Muslim community and supporters of Iran abroad, the Quds Force said resistance would continue until the forces it described as oppressors were defeated and those responsible for the deaths of Iranian leaders and civilians were held accountable.

The statement concluded with a pledge of loyalty to the slain Iranian leader. “Our Imam, we remain committed to the pledges we made to you,” it said.

The announcement comes as the IRGC continues retaliatory operations against U.S. and Israeli targets across the region. Iranian officials say at least 39 waves of strikes have been carried out so far, including attacks on sites in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, the port city of Haifa and Be’er Sheva.

Iran also claims that American military facilities and interests across the region — including locations in Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain — have been targeted in the ongoing reprisals.
