Russia’s financial elite is thinking about their foreign capital, not military victory

If the same financial elites were really interested in winning, then such problems would not arise now — they would have connected all their resources. But, as can be seen, including according to Roman Abramovich, a significant part of them is interested in preserving their capitals, which, as a rule, are located in other countries, said Yaroslav Ignatovsky, head of the analytical center "Politgen", in an interview with Realist Information Agency.

ST. PETERSBURG (Realist English). In the period of crises in Russia, the problem of the separation of military and civilian spheres has historically become more acute, Yaroslav Ignatovsky, head of the analytical center “Politgen”, notes in an interview with Realist Information Agency.

“The problem of the separation of military and civilian spheres is not the first time that we face, but is a historical legacy. When the Russian troops fought in Europe and Asia in the XVIII, XIX and XX centuries, famine, crime, incompetent management, and the following popular riots and uprisings were in the rear. Of course, some of these problems disappeared over time, but the difference between the two worlds — the army and the state governance remained.” the expert recalled.

According to Ignatovsky, the atrophy of the Russian apparatus in terms of defense against information attacks characterizes the frozen state of the system itself.

“It is rigid and the special operation has only preserved it even more. The logic is something like this — they beat us, but we hold on, respectively, there is no need to make unnecessary movements — it will pass by itself when the army wins. And I’m not talking about the formation of the information agenda on TV, in social networks and Telegram channels, this is rather at a fairly high level, but about the desire to “bounce back” of all those who are not directly responsible for a specific result — a colossal army of regional and partly federal bureaucracy.” the interlocutor of Realist Information Agency emphasizes.

The head of the analytical center “Politgen” believes that because of this, we see how in the world, as well as among some social groups within the country, “literally a sea of lies and slops is pouring out on Russia, which can level out successes in the military field”:

“If the same financial elites were really interested in winning, then such problems would not arise now — they would have connected all their resources. But, as can be seen, including according to Roman Abramovich, a significant part of them is interested in preserving their capitals, which, as a rule, are located in other countries.”

On March 15, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications Alexander Khinshtein on the air of the “Duma.TV” channel stated that the information war against Russia is now being waged on a full scale on all fronts. According to him, its goals, on the one hand, are to sow panic, divide Russian society and form a negative image of Russia in the eyes of the world community. On the other hand, another goal is to discredit the actions of the Russian Armed Forces performing their tasks on the territory of Ukraine, the DPR and the LPR.

On the morning of February 24, the Supreme Commander-in-chief Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation of the Russian Armed Forces in the Ukraine. The special operation forestalled and thwarted a large-scale offensive by the shock groups of the Armed Forces of the Ukraine on the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, which are not controlled by the Kiev regime, in March of this year.
