Russian bases in Armenia protect oligarchs and officials from the Armenian people

Over the past three decades, the Armenian moneybags have made their illegal fortunes on Gazprom, electricity, money laundering and the smuggling of minerals. And in order to save and multiply their loot, these dealers have placed Russian military bases in Armenia and Artsakh. So let's be honest with each other: the bases of the Russian Federation were originally needed only by you — to protect Armenian officials and oligarchs from the robbed Armenian people, Sarkis Tsaturyan believes.

YEREVAN (Realist English). The Armenian political class, we don’t have an elite yet, has one birth trauma: it, this class, confuses its personal financial well-being with the well-being of the entire Armenian nation. This opinion was expressed by the editor-in-chief of Realist News Agency Sarkis Tsaturyan in his telegram channel.

“Over the past three decades, the Armenian moneybags have made their illegal fortunes on Gazprom, electricity, money laundering and the smuggling of minerals. And in order to save and multiply their loot, these dealers have placed Russian military bases in Armenia and Artsakh.”

“So let’s be honest with each other: the bases of the Russian Federation were originally needed only by you — to protect Armenian officials and oligarchs from the robbed Armenian people.” he stressed.

Tsaturyan noted that the Kremlin has fulfilled its part of the deal:

“Unlike the Armenian people, you and your children live in safety, and no one in Moscow takes your loot as of yet.

Do not pretend that you are dissatisfied with the Kremlin. You are secretly praying that the Russians will keep their bases. After all, otherwise they will take your maybahs, rolls royces, mansions and bank accounts.

One thing pleases me: this lawlessness will soon come to an end and everyone will get what they deserve.

And again: don’t you dare talk about unity with the people now. You have never been one with them.

You can’t even buy weapons for them with people’s money so that people can protect themselves. And at the first opportunity, try to surrender the land to the enemy without a fight and hide in the bunker of one embassy (guess from three attempts who I mean). Why are you needed at all?

Those rulers who were united with the people have been looking at us from heaven since long ago. There was no place for them in oligarchic Armenia.”
