Sheynin: Russia should become attractive for Ukraine

If we want to help our brotherly Ukrainians in any way, then we can do it only by changing ourselves. We need to start moving somewhere ourselves so that they would want to go with us, stressed the TV anchorman of the “Vremya Pokazhet” ("Time will Tell") program Artyom Sheynin.

MOSCOW (Realist English). Russia should sort out its own problems in order to become an example for its neighbors in the Ukraine, according to the TV anchorman of the “Vremya Pokazhet” (“Time will Tell”) program Artyom Sheynin.

“We have to deal with a lot of things within ourselves. If we want to help our brotherly Ukrainians in any way, then we can do it only by changing ourselves. We need to start moving somewhere ourselves so that they would want to go with us. So that their oligarchs would not plunder their country. But to do this, we ourselves need to change a lot in our own country. That’s exactly why our guys are there now. I am sure that they will finish the job. As our grandfathers — Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Dagestanis, Buryats, Yakuts – finish the job once in 1943… We are all one big people,” he said in a comment published on the website Sheynin.ru.

The journalist stressed that during the period of the special military operation, the authorities “did a lot of things that seemed unthinkable for years,” “although everyone was talking about it.” “Apparently, the special military operation cleans us here in many ways.”

According to Sheynin, if the state has announced such tasks in the Ukraine — “denazification, demilitarization and a challenge to the West, then the challenge should be thrown not only to the West.”

Speaking on the impact of anti-Russian sanctions on Europe, the TV anchorman suggested waiting for March bills: “The end of March will be very indicative, since European residents will receive bills for housing services. It will be a shock and awe.”

Since February 24, the special military operation of the Russian Armed Forces has forestalled and thwarted a large-scale offensive on the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republic, uncontrolled by the Kiev regime, by shock groups of the Ukrainian troops planned for March of this year.
