Aliyev’s representatives in PACE supported the creation of a tribunal for Putin and Lukashenko

The Armenian delegation and the delegations of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union did not support this resolution, reminds journalist Roman Sevansky.

MOSCOW (Realist English). At the recurrent plenary session in PACE (the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe), a provocative anti-Russian and anti-Belarusian resolution on the establishment of a tribunal for the leaders of Russia and Belarus, respectively, for Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, was put to the vote.

So, during the voting on this issue, two representatives of Azerbaijan in PACE, Erkin Gadirli and Kenul Nurullayeva, voted “for”, or rather for the creation of such a “tribunal”. We are well aware and understand that these deputies represented not only Azerbaijan, but, first of all, the head of this republic, Ilham Aliyev. The fact is that Azerbaijan is a dictatorial state and no decision is made there without the instruction or personal consent of Aliyev. Many Azerbaijani central media, such as Report.az , Vesti.az and others began to spread this news very actively and joyfully. Exactly repeating the false accusations of PACE against Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko.

In recent decades, Russian-Azerbaijani and Belarusian-Azerbaijani relations have been developing very rapidly. Russia is declared a “strategic partner”, and Belarus is an “ally”. The endless praises voiced by both Russia and Belarus in relation to the Baku regime were eventually refracted as if in a crooked mirror. With this vote, Azerbaijan actually committed an act of meanness towards its “allies” – Russia and Belarus.

It should be emphasized that the Armenian delegation and the delegations of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union did not support this resolution.

I wonder why the Russian Foreign Ministry has not yet reacted to this anti–Russian (for Minsk – anti-Belarusian) act of a “strategic partner” in the person of official Baku? Mikhail Alexandrov, a well-known Russian expert on the South Caucasus, has repeatedly criticized the policy and style of work of the Russian Foreign Ministry in his public speeches. According to the expert, in recent years, thanks to the aggressive activity of Azerbaijan, a large Azerbaijani (consider Turkish) lobby has been formed in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. And the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, instead of protecting Russia’s national interests, protects foreign ones, actually having turned into a comprador institution for its own state.

Thanks to the strong pro-Azerbaijani lobby, the Russian Foreign Ministry prefers not to notice the systematic anti-Russian steps and unfriendly actions of Azerbaijan against Russia. In this case, it is a hidden military aid to the criminal Kiev regime. Deliveries of high-precision guided bombs QFAB-250 LG are being carried out. This high-explosive fragmentation bomb with a laser sight and weighing 250 kg was developed by the Research Institute of the Ministry of Defense and the Turkish company ASELSAN and was first introduced in 2019, that is, it is one of the newest in its class.

The Russian Foreign Ministry “has not noticed” that during the special military operation the AFU actively uses against the Russian Armed Forces Russian MiG-29 fighters, which have been in service with the Azerbaijani army. Baku handed them over to Kiev. Azerbaijan has repeatedly sent electrical equipment to Ukraine. Last time 45 power transformers and 50 generators.

It is necessary to note the ongoing anti-Russian actions in Baku in support of the criminal Kiev regime. Azerbaijani deputies, political scientists and public figures have united and actually created an anti-Russian-pro-Ukrainian public front.

It should be especially noted that in Azerbaijan, almost all the media – almost 98% – conduct anti-Russian and pro-Ukrainian propaganda. Most of these Azerbaijani media outlets conduct their work in Russian, and they are freely distributed on the Internet both on the territory of Russia and throughout the post-Soviet space. Thus, actually conducting active anti-Russian propaganda. All sorts of materials, videos and articles are posted there, where the authors with wild joy show damaged Russian military equipment or killed Russian soldiers, constantly express their solidarity with the Armed Forces of Ukraine…

The carelessness of the Russian authorities, and especially Roskomnadzor, which does not block them on the territory of Russia, is striking. A few months ago, isolated Azerbaijani anti-Russian websites were blocked haggin.az and caliber.az. But, to my surprise, after a while with caliber.az the lock was lifted. And this anti-Russian website, as before, continues its activities to protect the interests of Ukraine, discrediting Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh, etc.

Sometimes we learn from the news or the Internet that some Russian media or public person, for some single word, for statements against their own (special military operation) or against the Armed Forces of Russia, is immediately brought to justice, and sometimes even criminally.

But, to my surprise, the laws adopted in the Russian Federation on countering anti-Russian propaganda during the total information war (concerning the discrediting of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during its, the dissemination of false messages), to my surprise, do not work and do not apply to the Azerbaijani media. And the Azerbaijani media continue to act with impunity and actively spread anti-Russian propaganda. And no one notices them.  Including the Russian Foreign Ministry…

So maybe the “Russian Foreign Ministry” will act decisively at least sometimes – will it blacklist and ban Azerbaijani deputies and “friends” of Russia Erkin Gadirli and Kenul Nurullayeva from entering our country?
