The US has provided the Kiev regime with $1 billion in direct support

KIEV (Realist English). The United States has provided the Kiev regime with $1 billion in direct support to strengthen the economy, another $7.5 billion will be provided later, US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink said on Twitter.

“As I told the economic leadership of Ukraine, supporting the Ukraine means strengthening its economy. Direct support of $1 billion is already here to help the Ukraine and its people move forward and another $7.5 billion is expected.” she wrote.

According to the American diplomat, the Ukrainian people are already working on the restoration of the territory: “I saw this determination in their eyes and heard it in their voices. We will make sure that our help reaches those who need it and supports a sovereign, independent, democratic and prosperous Ukraine.”

At the end of May, US President Joseph Biden signed a $40 billion aid package to Kiev. Of this money, $23.75 billion is provided for the security of the Ukraine, but not all of these funds will go specifically for the supply of weapons to the Kiev regime.

$6 billion will go to the initiative to promote the security of Kiev. Another $8.7 billion is to replenish American stocks of weapons and military equipment in exchange of those provided to the Kiev regime.

$4 billion will be divided between the needs of additional support for the regime in Kiev and the strengthening of NATO’s eastern flank. $3.9 billion will be received for retrofitting by the European Command of the US army.

$9 billion has been pledged for additional economic and technical assistance to the Kiev regime. Of these, $8 billion is to provide direct budget support and similar programs, $400 million is to support law enforcement agencies and ensure the rule of law, $100 million is to protect against the consequences of possible chemical, biological and nuclear threats, and expand mine clearance programs, $500 million is to support through the EBRD.

Another $6.58 billion will go to humanitarian needs and the needs of global food security.
