MOSCOW (Realist English). State Duma Deputy Mikhail Delyagin, during live TV program “60 Minutes” on the “Russia 24” channel, called for harshand unequivocal punishment of Azerbaijan, or, as he called it, the “Turkish proxy”, for its actions in Nagorno-Karabakh and disobedience to Russian peacekeepers.

“It is necessary to restore normal statehood throughout the territory of the Ukraine and, preferably, within the Russian Federation. Without this, denazification will be impossible. As for the threats that exist now, the Polish army has moved very clearly to the borders of Belarus. It is very likely that not as part of NATO, but as part of Poland, they will try to attack our ally,” says Delyagin.

According to him, there is a threat of an attack from Baku, because the Azerbaijanis violate the armisticein Artsakh:

“Ours said that they retreated after we talked to them. But Baku officially stated that they did not leave the occupied territories anywhere. Therefore, this policy of aggression on the part of American satellites, in this case Turkey, or rather Turkish proxies, as we call them, is a real danger. It is necessary to punish for this harshly and unambiguously. Why do we need the oil industry of Azerbaijan? We don’t need it, it’s extremely vulnerable. If people don’t understand words, they will probably have to understand through deed. If we don’t do this, we won’t be there. This is the way the question stands.”

On March 24, the occupying forces of the Baku regime invaded the zone of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping troops in Artsakh, taking control of the village of Parukh in the Askeran district and adjacent positions, trying to advance in the area of the eastern border of Nagorno-Karabakh.

On March 27, the Baku armed formations left their positions after negotiations, the Russian military said. However, the Ministry of Defense of the mini-Sultanate stated that they did not withdraw troops.

By the night of March 28, the Ministry of Defense of Artsakh reported that the occupation formations of the Baku regime remain in the areas of the Karaglukh elevation, entrench near the village of Parukh. No positional changes were recorded during the day. Work continues with the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in order to return the Azerbaijani side to its original positions.

In September 2020, using the tacit consent of the Kremlin, the armed forces of Turkey and Azerbaijan attacked Artsakh and Armenia with the support of international mercenary terrorists from Syria, Libya and Afghanistan. Since then, Baku and Ankara have continued their occupation policy on Armenian lands, physically destroying Armenian cultural heritage — churches, khachkars, museums and all kinds of mentioning of Armenians on stone or on paper.
