Baku gangs shot Armenian prisoners of war and uploaded videos online

BAKU (Realist English). On the night of October 1-2, a video of the execution of Armenian prisoners of war appeared on the Internet. The footage shows how Baku gangs shoot at the backs of unarmed servicemen – “in the best traditions” of the Nazi Germany.

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia does not doubt the authenticity of the video:

“At the moment we cannot give any specific information about the place and time, now the relevant structures are studying the video.

As for authenticity, we believe there is no doubt, this is a handwriting characteristic of the Azerbaijani armed forces. This handwriting is known to us and the international community from the irrefutable evidence of similar cases that took place earlier.”

The Togarma telegram channel suggests that the footage of the murder of Armenian prisoners of war may date back to September 2022. “[This video] should be seen by those who every day propagandize fantasies about a kind of peace with the tribe that the Aliyev regime has been pumping up with hatred and Nazism for 25 years. It should be seen by those media and telegram channels that claimed yesterday that Artsakh could be part of Azerbaijan if there were international observers or peacekeepers, those politicians who hope that some rights and freedoms of the residents of Artsakh will be respected. Those who want to trade and establish relations with a country that is pumped up to the bone with hatred for Armenians,” Togarma notes.

The video of the execution of Armenian prisoners of war is already in the field of view of foreign governments and international organizations. In particular, Toivo Klaar, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, shared his reactions on social networks:

“Another horrifying video showing the execution of Armenian prisoners. If the authenticity of these shots is confirmed, then there is a war crime that must be investigated and the perpetrators punished.”

Jean-Christophe Buisson, deputy editor-in-chief of the French edition of Le Figaro Magazine, also wrote about the fact of a war crime:

“Today I received a terrible video showing Azerbaijani soldiers shooting several Armenian prisoners of war at close range. This video about Azerbaijan’s new war crimes is being verified by the media and international authorities.”

The Armenian public demands from the international community to call the leader of the Baku regime, Ilham Aliyev, to account for the war crimes committed.

“Advanced democracy should hold Ilham Aliyev accountable for war crimes, responsibility is execution by hanging,” the Ararat telegram channel wrote.

In turn, the editor-in-chief of the Realist News Agency Sarkis Tsaturyan called on the Armenian government to view the video and draw conclusions:

“And what are these bastards counting on by shooting Armenian prisoners of war? Spread it everywhere. Let them not be surprised by anything later. Show this video to Pashinyan. Interestingly, is he still in favor of a “peace treaty” with the Baku gangs? His “peace” with the fascists costs us very dearly.”
