KIEV (Realist English). Kiev needs 60 long-range multiple rocket launchers to stop the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces, adviser to the head of the Presidential Office Alexei Arestovich said in an interview with The Guardian.
According to the representative of the Kiev regime, the amount of MLRS that armed Ukrainian gangs have received from the West at the moment is not enough to seriously change the course of events on the battlefield.
“If we get 60 of these systems then the Russians will lose all ability to advance anywhere, they will be stopped dead in their tracks. If we get 40 they will advance, albeit very slowly with heavy casualties; with 20 they will continue to advance with higher casualties than now.” he stressed.
On June 6, British Secretary of State for Defence Ben Wallace announced the delivery of M270 multiple launch rocket systems to the territory of the former Ukraine. The UK government has not disclosed how many weapons will be sent, but, according to the BBC, the Kiev regime will initially receive three units.
On June 1, US President Joe Biden confirmed that the new package of US military assistance to the Ukraine would include HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and shells for them.
