War with Iran seen as inevitable, Armenia warned of looming regional storm

YEREVAN (Realist English). The war with Iran is drawing ever closer. And once again, this pulls Armenia into a zone of uncertainty. The decision of the European trio (the United Kingdom, France and Germany) to resume sanctions against the Iranian government under the auspices of the United Nations Security Council is nothing less than diplomatic preparation for new airstrikes by the United States and Israel against Iran.

Now the question is not whether there will be an attack on the Iranians, but when it will take place. When will it happen? The sooner Israel completes its operation in Gaza, the sooner the storm will reach our Syunik…

But there is another possibility: if Israel becomes bogged down in Gaza, it may go all-in — striking directly at Iran in order to bring its ground operation in Gaza to a conclusion. In other words, a war with the Islamic Republic of Iran is inevitable under any scenario.

The Azerbaijani-Turkish fascists will attempt to exploit these circumstances in order to seize a “corridor” through Syunik. What will Yerevan’s overseers say when their soap bubble called “eternal peace with Aliyev and Erdogan” bursts? Hiding behind America will not work for long.

Sarkis Tsaturyan — founder of the Ashkharazhokhov movement
