KIEV (Realist English). Adviser to the head of the Office of the President Alexey Arestovich on May 8 on the air of “Feygin Live” said that it was necessary to understand why the Russian Armed Forces very quickly achieved success in the south of Ukraine. Among the reasons he named incompetence and betrayal.
“They will definitely give everyone an assessment — both personnel, personal, and criminal,” stressed Arestovich.
In response to the words of Arestovich, Ukrainian military analyst, head of the “Come Back Alive” Foundation Taras Chmut wrote on Facebook that the Office of the President of the Ukraine is trying find a scapegoat.
In his opinion, during the two years of the reign of pan-President Zelensky from 2019 to 2021, the Armed Forces practically did not develop, the defense order has failed, and a few months before the start of the special military operation, the leadership of the Kiev regime assured that there would not be any.
“If someone suddenly forgot, I will remind you that hundreds of dead and wounded men and women provide you with delicious coffee in the sunny Kiev every day. Every day. And today, looking for the culprits among them is absolutely not the best idea. The culprits are not in the army, although there is someone there to ask for something, the culprits are in the high offices that formed the budgets of politics and determined the names for the key positions,” the military expert stressed.
Taras Chmut is associated with the current Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
“It is obvious that the leadership of the Ukrainian army has become the object of criticism of Arestovich. What is the reason? According to the Ukrainska Pravda, non-publicized ratings show a high level of confidence of the Ukrainians in the army — 98% support the Armed Forces. And Zaluzhny’s political rating shows that in the presidential elections he can bypass the incumbent president, since he does not have the accumulated Zelensky anti-rating.
In addition, Zaluzhny created his own charitable foundation to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine “We will win”. In the traditions of the Ukrainian politics, a charitable foundation is the first step in the political process. Along with the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from Kiev, political life has intensified in the capital of the Ukraine, the Zrada wheel has been launched again. Now the current head of the AFU Zaluzhny can get under it. It is obvious that in the war-time, a public conflict with the leadership of the army will harm the country’s combat capability,” the authors of the Rybar telegram channel noted.
Gradually, criticism is increasing with regard the situation around Azovstal, where the Russian Armed Forces, together with the forces of the DPR, blocked more than 1 thousand Ukrainian military servicemen and terrorists of the Nazi neo-pagan grouping “Azov”* (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation). At a press conference on May 8, the deputy leader of the Nazi group, Svyatoslav Palamar (Kalina), criticized some politicians (without naming names) who advised the “Azovites” to do “their own thing.”
