MOSCOW (Realist English). Since 2014, the Investigative Committee has initiated more than 500 criminal cases on the events in Donbass and еру Ukraine, involving 180 persons. Among them there, among others, are high-ranking representatives of the military and political leadership of еру Ukraine, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin said in an interview with the TASS News Agency.
“The West’s information war against Russia, which is saturated with disinformation and falsification, becomes a cover for genocide, aggression, as well as for attacks by the nationalists on peaceful citizens of Donbass,” he stressed.
The Head of the Investigative Committee instructed the preparation of the next edition of the “White Book” on the events in Donbass.
“This publication will include evidence of the monstrous crimes of the Ukrainian nationalists against civilians, eyewitness accounts, as well as stories about our humanitarian mission,” Bastrykin explained.
He reminded that since 2014 we have seen the hatred, cruelty and meanness of the Kiev regime towards the civilian population of Donbass on the part of the Ukrainian security forces:
“Once they were citizens of one and the same country, and how can one do this to one’s compatriots … is incomprehensible to my mind. Apparently, the nationalistic ideas that increasingly permeated the Ukrainian society, took root and spread from top to bottom, really sprouted very deeply. Otherwise, how can one explain or justify the actions of the Ukrainian military, who have mined the area near residential buildings, where then three children were blown up and killed during a walk. They fired large-caliber artillery at residential areas, knowing that people were dying from it. After all, there can be no accidents here, all gunners know how this system works.”
Since April 2014, representatives of the Ukrainian “siloviki” have been constantly shelling settlements in Donbass, using lethal weapons of indiscriminate effect designed to destroy people and infrastructure as effectively as possible.
The Investigative Committee of Russia continues to collect evidence of the crimes committed by the Ukrainian Nazis, encroaching on the life and health of civilians in Donbass, as well as our citizens and the interests of Russia.
