YEREVAN (Realist English). The Turks will never live in peace with Armenians, a peace with Turks is unrealistic. The authorial Telegram channel “Bucha” writes about this.
“There is a lot of writing about peace with the Turks, it comes from every iron, everyone writes their position and opinion on this. We agree with some things, but not with others.
We will leave it to specialists to discuss what trade bonuses and economic benefits the peace with the Turks will give. But there are some points that need to be understood and I would like to write about them.
In relations with the Turks, an Armenian can be guided by only one thing — justice. This is not revenge, not retribution, but justice.
To forgive a Turk one crime is to get two new ones. To forgive him the massacre of a thousand Armenians is to receive the massacre of ten thousands. To forgive him the occupation of the Shahumyan district is to lose most of Artsakh, to be surrounded, with a blown-up natural gas pipe and completely dependent on a third party — the friends of the Turks.
This is the psychology of relations between an Armenian and a Turk. It was like this a century ago, and it will be like this in a century. It is possible not to understand this either for money or due to an illness.
Our enemies are at their peak right now. In order for Armenia to be able to effectively resist them, it takes time to strengthen, fortify, arm the army, train thousands of guys in a new way.
The Turks will never live in peace and they will always want something from the Armenians. At the moment, the main goal for them is Artsakh and the Armenian statehood. They do not conceal it and have an ally in this matter – our ally.
If Armenia can buy time to prepare, this time must be bought.
Those who shout that it is necessary to fight the Turks right here and now, “no talk about peace” and other things, most likely will not go to war themselves, they do not comprehend the situation, and may be interested in the defeat of Armenia, which we have no right to, otherwise it will be the last one.
They have been preparing for 26 years to capture little Artsakh, while almost two years have passed since the well-known events, not all wounds have healed yet and not everything has been restored after such a blow, it takes time.
You need to grit your teeth, work and prepare, and you don’t need to worry about peace with the Turks, it’s unrealistic. We need to worry about how to win the inevitable future war quickly, defeatingly and with minimal losses for us,” the author of the channel notes.
In September 2020, using the tacit consent of the Kremlin, the armed forces of Turkey and Azerbaijan attacked Artsakh and Armenia with the support of international mercenary terrorists from Syria, Libya and Afghanistan. Since then, Baku and Ankara have continued their occupation policy on Armenian lands, physically destroying Armenian cultural heritage — churches, khachkars, museums and any mention of Armenians on stone or on paper.
