MOSCOW (Realist English). After the start of the special military operation on the territory of the former Ukraine, two “parties” remain in the Russian political arena: those who want us to win, and those who want us to lose,” says political analyst Alexey Chadaev.
“The Russian party glade is now a bunch of “brakes” who have not realized that after 02/24/22 there are exactly two “parties” left in the country: those who are for us to win, and those who are for us to lose. I’m in the first one. And I have been and am doing only and exclusively one thing: I am doing everything in my power for the war to be won. And what will happen there with the UR (United Russia), LDPR, the Just Russia, the Communist Party, the New People, etc. — I don’t really care,” the expert wrote in his telegram channel.
With the start of the Ukrainian conflict in February 2022, the Russian ruling class has conditionally divided itself into two camps — the “peaceful” one, which is trying in every possible way to bring everything back and is ready for any agreements with the United States, Britain and Europe to preserve its privileges, and the “military” one, which has thrown all its strength and resources to defeat the enemy on the battlefield and is ready to talk to the West only under the condition if a new world order has been built and after all the tasks set on the territory of the former Ukraine have been achieved.
