EU supported US’ anti-Russian sanctions to the detriment of its interests — Secretary of the Russian Security Council

The goal of the Americans, as in the Second World War, is obvious — to weaken Europe and cause maximum damage to its relations with Russia, creating undeniable advantages for the US’ further economic development, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation believes.

MOSCOW (Realist English). Secretary of Russia’s Security Council Nikolai Patrushev claims that Washington aims to weaken Europe and create undeniable advantages for the development of its own economy.

“The goal of the Americans, as in the Second World War, is obvious — to weaken Europe and cause maximum damage to its relations with Russia, creating undeniable advantages for the US’further economic development,” he said at a meeting with Noureddine Makri, Director General of the General Directorate of Documentation and External Security of Algeria.

Patrushev said that the Americans are using their partners in other countries, wishing to impose a world order that would be based on the rules of the game that are beneficial to them.

“In order to implement their plans to break up the entire system of international relations and impose the so called rules—based order — that is, the rules of the United States — the Americans have been trying to involve the maximum number of states into their orbit through blackmail, deception and threats, whose interests they did not even think to consider. In fact, very often they were just used blindly,” he believes.

The purpose of the Russian special operation in the Ukraine is not to change the Kiev regime, as the West is trying to present, but to protect people from genocide, the Secretary of the Russian Security Council stressed.

“Russia does not bomb cities in the Ukraine, as the United States and NATO did in Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, destroying residential neighborhoods with people,” he stressed.

According to him, the special operation in the Ukraine has become a timely and proactive measure against Kiev’s criminal steps towards Donbass.

“We are currently concluding gathering of evidence regarding the military biological activities of the United States on the territory of the Ukraine. I have no doubt that it will be shaped and the whole civilized world will finally see that America has become a “worthy” successor to the traditions of the Third Reich, where inhuman experiments on people were practiced,” Patrushev said.

The special military operation launched by the Russian Armed Forces on February 24 thwarted a large-scale offensive by shock groups of the Ukrainian troops on the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics not controlled by Kiev. The decision of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Putin made it possible to save tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of Donbass civilians, whom the Kiev regime has been methodically shelling with large-caliber and rocket artillery for the past eight years, driving the elderly, women and children into basements.
