The desire to put pressure on Russia prevails over common sense

Russia cannot be "canceled". Her cultural, economic, scientific, and political influence is too strong, and, objectively, it cannot be ignored, said Russian Ambassador to Iceland Mikhail Noskov.

REYKJAVIK (Realist English). The cultural, economic, scientific, and political influence of Russia is too strong, and it, objectively, cannot be ignored, notes Russian Ambassador to Iceland Mikhail Noskov in his article “On the fight against Nazism in the Ukraine and the confrontation of the West with Russia”.

“Russia cannot be “canceled.” Her cultural, economic, scientific, and political influence is too strong, and it, objectively, cannot be ignored. Our country will cope with the pressure exerted on her, as she has always coped throughout her history. Russia is rich not only in natural resources, but also in talented, dedicated people who are ready to make every effort for the development of the Fatherland.” he stressed.

The diplomat believes that the desire to “vent the Russophobia accumulated over the years prevails over common sense”:

“The desire to put pressure on Russia and vent the Russophobia accumulated over the years prevails over common sense and does not allow us to accept the fact that the so—called “measures of influence” on our country — rabid anti-Russian propaganda, sanctions pressure and termination of cooperation in almost all spheres – do not bring the desired result. I am convinced that sooner or later Western politicians will realize that the modern world is impossible without normal cooperation and taking into account Russian interests.”

The Russian Ambassador to Iceland is confident that the goals and objectives of the special military operation for the demilitarization and denazification of the Ukraine will be achieved, “despite the large-scale deliveries of weapons and military equipment by NATO states to the Kiev regime,” and “threats to the security of the Russian Federation emanating from Ukrainian territory will be eliminated.”
