MOSCOW (Realist English). The press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov said that negotiations with Kiev will have to wait for a change in the position of the current leader of the Kiev regime Zelensky or already his successor.
“Well, what can I say now? Now we will wait for either a change in the positions of the current president, or we will wait for already the future president of the Ukraine, who will change his positions in favor of the Ukrainian people,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
So Peskov commented on the decree of pan-President Zelensky, by which he introduced the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of the Ukraine dated September 30 on the impossibility of holding talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, on theUkraine’s movement into NATO and strengthening its defense capability.
The Kremlin makes it clear that they are not going to stop the special operation, while Zelensky said against the backdrop of the referendums in the DPR and LPR, as well as the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions to Russia that the withdrawal of Russian troops from the Ukraine is a condition for negotiations with Moscow.
